Minus5° ICEBAR Las Vegas Mandalay Bay

Minus5° ICEBAR

What’s cooler than being cool? ICE COLD. Outkast knows. One trip to any of Minus5° ICEBAR’s three locations on the Las Vegas Strip and you’ll know, too.

Minus5° ICEBAR is one of the coolest experiences you can have in Las Vegas. It’s also one of the coldest. Part art exhibit, part bar; all ice, all fun. This incredibly unique experience offers guests of all ages a chance to chill out and step into a world – and bar – made entirely of ice. With locations inside the Mandalay Shoppes at Mandalay Bay, the Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian and the Linq Promenade, Minus5° ICEBAR is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to escape the Las Vegas heat and indulge in a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) in a truly one-of-a-kind setting.

Upon entering Minus5° ICEBAR, visitors are provided with a warm parka and gloves to wear during their stay. The bar is kept at a refreshing 5 degrees below zero Celsius (23 F) to keep everything inside frozen. How is that refreshing? No wind and no humidity create an atmosphere that is much more enjoyable than, say, Fairbanks, Alaska (average temperature 27 F). The walls, seats and even the glasses that drinks are served in are all made of ice.

Despite the cold temperature, Minus5° ICEBAR is a warm and inviting place to spend time, thanks to the friendly staff eager to make your visit the best one possible. If you’re lucky, you may even find yourself chilling with a penguin. The bar offers a range of delicious frosty cocktails and mocktails, including signature and rotating selections. Current signature cocktails include the Minus 5° Old Fashioned which is “cold barrel-aged” in the ICEBAR. There’s also the Heming-way Too Cold with Bacardi Lime and the Icy Mudslide.

Each ICEBAR has its own theme that updates quarterly. The most recent update features new ice displays created by master ice carvers Dan “Hollywood” Rebholz and Austin Greenleaf. These updates include an all-new Japanese samurai sword display at the Mandalay Shoppes location and a medieval fire and ice fantasy display at The Venetian location.

In addition to its stunning ice sculptures and an impressive selection of drinks, Minus5° ICEBAR can also tailor its unique experience for groups and events, which can also utilize its non-frozen space. Private bookings are available for 100 to 300 guests (depending on location), and the bar can be customized to fit any occasion, from birthday parties to corporate events.

All three Minus5° ICEBAR locations open daily at 11 a.m. For more information and to buy tickets, visit www.minus5experience.com.
