Sierra Arts Foundation, Nevada’s premier arts organization and resource center, relaunches the Sierra Arts Festival as a weekend showcase for fine artists and fine crafters from June 25 to June 26 at Wingfield Park in Reno. The event kicks off at 10 a.m. and concludes at 5 p.m.

Goodman will hold a special edition of the Oscar’s Dinner Series entitled “Roll Out the Barrels, Same Old Crap, Tony Did It,” at Oscar’s Steakhouse at the Plaza Hotel & Casino on Wednesday, June 29, with cocktails in the lounge at 6 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m. in the restaurant’s iconic glass dome overlooking the lights of Fremont Street.
First Friday Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, announces that First Friday’s Jul. 1 event is going to “Sparkle.” The art walk area on Boulder Avenue and First Street will feature an estimated sixty-First Friday artists and craftspeople. The food garden and bar area remain in the Art Square parking lot, along with entertainment from 5 to 11 p.m.
