The Summerlin Council in Las Vegas is excited to invite locals to the annual Summerlin Patriotic Parade after its absence during the pandemic. This is Nevada’s first full-scale parade since 2020 and is back in full force with massive inflatable balloons, themed floats, local icons and vets, and more among the 70 parade entries. In addition to the parade fun, live music will also be playing and sweet treats will be available to purchase. The event is free. Star-Spangled Sparks

The annual Star-Spangled Sparks at the Nugget Casino Resort in Reno is back for 2022 and will feature its staple grilled, all-American barbecue, art and shopping booths, ice-cold libations, games and a beautiful fireworks show to cap off the night. The fireworks display is the longest in all of Nevada and begins at 9:30 p.m. The event kicks off at 4 p.m. and is free to everyone, not just resort guests.
