Hometown: I’m an Air Force brat, but I call Colorado Springs home.

First job: I worked at a daycare center that my mother ran, changing poopy diapers and playing with toddlers.

Favorite ways to spend your free time in NV: I love being with friends and am a social butterfly, 100 percent. Las Vegas has so many things to offer, from sipping extravagant craft cocktails to bar hopping downtown, from grabbing dinner in Downtown Summerlin or Tivoli Village to seeing a live band or musician perform… everything’s best when done with good friends.

Your biggest accomplishment and why: My biggest achievement has been building after devastating loss. Years ago, I lost everything I owned, including where I was living. I had a few pairs of jeans, some shirts and my car. I had to stay positive, re-take control of my situation and somehow rebuild. I flew out of state to live with a friend that was willing to put me up. There, I found a music venue that let me utilize my booking talent experience and started putting together my own shows. Once I had enough money to come back to Vegas, I set up a woodshop in my garage and started building furniture, taking orders from Facebook Marketplace and OfferUp, in between bartending shifts. I saved and networked and eventually got a call from an old friend who had risen to senior leadership at Hakkasan Group. I took a management job with them, starting in their small lounges and worked my way up to managing Jewel Nightclub. Going from basically homeless to running operations at a nightclub on the Las Vegas Strip taught me that I’m capable of doing anything that I set my mind to…and that even the dreams I haven’t had yet, are achievable.

The biggest obstacle you overcame: See the above.

Someone who inspires you and why: My best friend, Jeremy Greenfield. When we started college together, we were waiting tables at a little restaurant. Through years of hard work, hustle, commitment and an unwavering belief in himself, he’s now the CRO of Popl, the leading digital business card company on the market, and constantly adding to his list of accomplishments. His regular pep-talks, support and belief in me have been invaluable and I’m grateful for our now 20-year friendship.

Advice to someone pursuing a career path in what you do: Stay humble, have patience and trust the process. Things don’t happen overnight. Focus on learning, work hard and be consistent. The more consistent you are in your pursuit of your potential, the more you’ll be able to take advantage of opportunities that come your way.

Favorite quote: “It always seems impossible, until it’s done.”

Something someone would be surprised to learn about you: I love musicals.

What makes someone fabulous: To me, a fabulous person is someone who’s truly happy and thriving and exudes that. They’re exceptional and admired, and they draw others into their orbit. I’m honored that you consider me “fabulous.”
