Your biggest accomplishment and why: Being a mom to my two girls is my biggest accomplishment. We had to do IVF, and there seems to be this misconception that if you do IVF, you’re 100 percent going to get pregnant. But in reality, to be an IVF momma is one of the hardest and most rewarding things I’ve ever been through. Coming out the end of it with two beautiful healthy girls made it all worth it.
The biggest obstacle you overcame: The sudden and tragic passing of my oldest sister when I was 9 years old. No one prepares you or even expects for a child to go through that kind of grief. I wouldn’t even say I’m over it; I just learned how to live with the pain.
Someone who inspires you and why: My mom. Being an immigrant from Cuba, with no family due to being an orphan, she literally had nothing. Working three jobs and being a single mom isn’t for the weak. I hope to be half of the woman to my girls as she was to me growing up.
Advice to someone pursuing a career path in what you do: Pick up the phone. You never know who’s on the other line.

Something someone would be surprised to learn about you: I love doing puzzles and reading fairy smut. Don’t knock it ’til you try it.
What makes someone fabulous: Being their authentic self. Not conforming to social norms. Not taking no for an answer when it comes to reaching your goals/dreams.
