Ferraro’s Ristorante Taste and Learn

Ferraro’s Ristorante has announced their latest taste and learn on Saturday, Oct. 21 at their Las Vegas restaurant space.

Taste and Learn is Ferraro’s popular, monthly wine tasting event that provides illuminating wine education. The event begins at 5 PM, where you will explore a menu of imaginative, authentic Italian small plates created by Ferraro’s Executive Chef Mimmo Ferraro. The October Taste and Learn event spotlights wines from Planeta originating in Sicily, Italy. For five centuries and through 17 generations, Planeta has continued to cultivate Sicily’s finest wines. Today, the winery includes five notable estates across various areas of the island, producing a variety of tempting red and white selections.

Attendees will begin the evening with the Cometa Fiano Sicilia Menfi DOC, a succulent white wine offering intense and fruity aromas. Second on the menu is the Frappato Vittoria DOC, a rare red wine offering the perfect synthesis between traditional and new winemaking trends. Next is the Etna Rosso DOC Nerello Mascalese, an intense and elegant red wine produced from grapes grown in the black soil of lava flows. Lastly, guests will conclude the tasting with Santa Cecilia Nero d’Avola Noto DOC, a top of the line wine made from indigenous red Sicilian grapes.
