First job: Go gacks at Food 4 Less on Nellis and Lake Mead (RIP)

Favorite ways to spend your free time in NV: Hanging out with my 6-year-old Hudson and family, traveling with my partner, hiking, cycling, listening to Hardcore History podcast, reading the bible, dancing salsa and exercise.

Your biggest accomplishment and why: 2018 Vegas Inc. “40 under 40”; 2022 Alumnus of the Year – College of Liberal Arts @ UNLV (honored beside Guy Fieri!); becoming a father and true leader

The biggest obstacle you overcame: Opening our first location of Makers & Finders and then scaling. Followed by understanding my role as a leader in an ever-changing workforce.

Someone who inspires you and why: Paul the Apostle for being a true entrepreneur of the faith by founding many churches and communities. He inspires me because of how much of the tremendous evolution he experienced and how much he believed in the cause that he was willing to travel, become imprisoned and almost die for it.

Advice to someone pursuing a career path in what you do: Be prepared and primed for a complete personal evolution that is propelled by the understanding that all of your weaknesses are opportunities for greatness. Listen to your gut, and have a fluid and consistent self-dialogue. Some of the most powerful ideas are stored somewhere within you.

Favorite quote: “Imagination will often carry us to worlds that never were. But without it we go nowhere.” –Carl Sagan

Something someone would be surprised to learn about you: I learned how to Pop & Lock by one of the founders sons of the Electric Boogaloos, founders of the movement/dance. He called me his protégé at one point!

What makes someone fabulous: How one moves on from a failure and then turns it into a success!
