Accordingly, each spring, tourists from around the world travel to Lovelock to participate in the traditional Chinese custom of locking their love at Lover’s Lock Plaza. Guests can purchase unique heart-shaped locks at most restaurants, stores and other Lovelock establishments and then permanently lock their love with a partner, relative or friend for life. 

A few Valentine’s Day-related activities, including the renewal of marriage vows, Lovers Aloft hot air balloon races and rides, a Locking Your Love event at Lover’s Lock Plaza, murder mystery luncheons and much more, are what’s in store at Lovelock’s most romantic celebration.
