Guests are welcome to stop by and experience the night sky and the distinctive park scenery during the annual Death Valley Dark Sky Festival. This larger-than-life festival uses the stars to better grasp mysteries beyond our globe. Through auditorium talks about the mysteries of the universe, an exploration fair full of hands-on activities, astronomy programs complete with telescope viewings, and talks with real-life scientists, the Death Valley Dark Sky Festival will fuel your cosmic curiosity like no other. 

There’s no better place to experience the night sky than Death Valley. This famous national park is a Gold Tier Dark Sky Park, the highest level of darkness according to the International Dark-Sky Association.
