$150
heart nonprofit

Signs of HOPE will celebrate its five-decade “Legacy of Resilience” during Sexual Assault Awareness Month with a special gala at Circa Resort & Casino in Las Vegas on Denim Day, Wednesday, April 24.

For the last 50 years, Signs of HOPE, a nonprofit organization formerly known as The Rape Crisis Center, has provided hope, help and healing to those affected by sexual violence and exploitation in Southern Nevada.

Tickets, tables and sponsorships are now available for purchase. Individual tickets start at $150, tables are available for $2,500 and sponsorship levels begin at $5,000. Each guest will receive passed appetizers, entertainment and the opportunity to bid on silent auction items. Guests also will experience an inspirational, survivor denim-themed runway show, a long-standing highlight of Signs of HOPE’s Denim Day celebrations.

During the event, hosted at Circa Resort & Casino from 5 to 8 p.m., Signs of HOPE will honor individuals who have given of themselves in extraordinary ways to support the work and mission of Signs of HOPE as the organization prepares for the next 50 years. The awards are named in honor of the nonprofit’s founders and its longest serving advocate and include the Florence McClure and Sandra Petta Community Award and the Shizue Hill Volunteer of the Year Award. In addition, a Signs of HOPE employee will receive the Lotus Leader Staff Award. All winners will be announced during the gala.

Denim Day is an international awareness raising day during which people are encouraged to wear denim to show support for sexual assault survivors. As such, gala guests are asked to pair denim and cocktail attire for the event.
