Las Vegas Days Rodeo

Saddle up! The Plaza Hotel & Casino in downtown Las Vegas will once again host the Las Vegas Days Rodeo at its outdoor equestrian facility, the CORE Arena, on Nov. 11 and 12 at 6 p.m.

Be sure to bring the entire family. There will be a free Whiskerino competition, mutton busting, historical displays and a coloring contest for Southern Nevada kids in kindergarten through sixth grade. There will also be plenty to see, including bull riding, barrel racing, team roping, tie-down roping, steer wrestling, saddle bronc riding, breakaway riding and bareback riding competitions. But no need to fear, this portion of the event will be completed by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association and the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association.

However, guests can get in on the action and compete in competitions like longest beard, longest mustache, and even worst beard. To get into the spirit, guests are highly encouraged to dress in Western attire or early 1900’s period costumes.
