Superplastic Partners with AREA15

Superplastic, the renowned IP factory celebrated for its contributions to animated entertainment, music, fashion and collectible art toys, has announced a partnership with AREA15 in Las Vegas. This collaboration aims to bring Superplastic’s animated characters to life for the first time in an immersive, real-world experience.

Scheduled to debut in the fall of 2024, Superplastic’s new experiential space will be located within the vibrant AREA15 entertainment district in Las Vegas, just minutes from the famous Strip. The character-driven intellectual property company creates synthetic celebrities, which appear in social media, music, gaming, high-end collectibles, fashion, animated entertainment, web3 and live experiences. Superplastic has collaborated with prestigious brands and celebrities such as Gucci, Fortnite, Mercedes-Benz, J. Balvin, Paris Hilton, The Weeknd and more.

“We’re thrilled to expand the Superplastic brand and characters to immersive entertainment,” says Jennifer van Dijk, Superplastic CEO, in a recent press release. “There is no better partner for us in this space than AREA15—we have a deep interest in growing intellectual property and entertainment that blends the digital and physical worlds. This is something we can powerfully scale over time.”

AREA15, a dynamic playground attracting over 3 million visitors annually, is known for its curated collection of interactive attractions, walk-through art exhibits, tech-driven experiences, events and entertainment. The Superplastic experience will add to AREA15’s impressive roster joining other globally recognized immersive experiences such as Meow Wolf’s Omega Mart, Illuminarium, Five Iron Golf and Dueling Axes.

“We welcome the addition of Superplastic to our growing collection of top-tier, globally recognized brands who have selected AREA15 as the location for their first-ever experiential, brick-and-mortar attractions,” says Winston Fisher, CEO of AREA15, in a press release. “Soon, our millions of visitors will have the thrill of interacting with Superplastic’s digital character universe in real life and in completely new and engaging ways.”
