The 54th annual Sons and Daughters of Erin St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival will take place from March 11 to March 13 in Downtown Henderson. The event will happen rain or shine, with the fun theme: “The leprechauns made me do it.” The event is free to attend and will feature Irish fare, whiskey and beer tastings, carnival rides, games, prizes, a parade, a car show and much more for you and the whole family to enjoy. The Fox Brewpub in Downtown Carson City takes St. Paddy’s Day seriously and is welcoming locals for its annual St. Patrick’s Day Bash on March 17, starting at 11 a.m. The celebration will feature traditional Irish food and music, green beer, live performances by The Sierra Highlanders Pipe Band and a lot more shenanigans. The menu will feature corned beef and cabbage, in addition to a traditional Irish lamb stew, soda bread and green beer to wash it all down.
