Discovery Children’s Museum in Las Vegas is hosting a five-day celebration in honor of Cinco de Mayo for little ones. The experiences will educate kids about Mexican culture and heritage through a variety of fun, hands-on experiences taking place from May 1 to May 5. Depending on your child’s age, the experiences will include creating a colorful dahlia (Mexico’s national flower) at the Art Zone, exploring Mexican folk art styles such as Huichol (yarn paintings) at the Creative Stations or observing a topographical map of Mexico that is 3D printed at the Science Bench. Cinco de Mayo Fremont Street Bar Crawl

Crawl your way through some of the best bars Fremont Street has to offer at the Cinco de Mayo Fremont Street Bar Crawl on Friday, May 5. The celebration will begin at Koi Ultra Lounge with drink specials and light bites before hitting the Strip. May First Friday Celebration

First Friday Foundation is celebrating by honoring 118 years of the city of Las Vegas and the second-annual Craft Beer Festival in conjunction with the Nevada Craft Brewers Association. Both events coincide with Cinco de Mayo and proceeds will support First Friday Foundation. The Craft Beer Festival will feature over 35 beers to sample in the Art Square parking lot, while First Friday will house over 60 artists and craft vendors on The Art Walk. Live music entrainment, food trucks and more will also be available at First Friday. Both events will run from 5 to 11 p.m., and admission is free and open to the public.
