Reno Jazz Festival

Celebrating 61 years with an extraordinary roster of jazz performers and artist educators—and providing participants with a deeper, more diversified educational and artistic experience—Reno Jazz Festival will be making its much anticipated return to University of Nevada, Reno on April 27 to 29.
Enjoy three days of jazz jam-packed with chances to listen, observe, learn and even play at the Reno Jazz Festival. Not only is this festival dedicated to educating and inspiring the next generation of jazz musicians, but it also features current musicians who make jazz music so extraordinary.
With special performers like Chicago’s beloved Marquis Hill, Joel Ross and the Manzanita Quintet and woodwind specialist Julian Tanaka, Reno Jazz Festival has a star-studded lineup in store for its guests. Plus, guests will also be blown away by hands-on workshops on a variety of subjects led by famous jazz musicians and artist educators from across the country. In addition, lots of improvisational jam sessions and student performances will also be a key component of the Reno Jazz Festival.
