Join the Fear Faire Friday the 13th Music Festival where Friday the 13th and Alternative Music Collide for a two-day event for all ages from May 13 to May 14 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino.
There is only one Friday the 13th weekend in 2022 and we are celebrating at the Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
Headliners – Oingo Boingo Former Members (May 13th), KONGOS (May 14th) and Alien Ant Farm (May 14th). Fifteen bands in total. Kicking off the party on Friday night is the “Dead Man’s Prom Nite” with headliner Oingo Boingo Former Members live onstage. Then on Saturday, there are a variety of Indie Alternative Bands, sideshow performers, activities and displays, scare actors, contests, and a unique shopping experience leading up to the headliners KONGOS and Alien Ant Farm.
Meet the first Jason Vorhees kill from the “Friday the 13th” franchise – Warren Gillette will be at The Fear Faire to sign autographs and meet horror movie fans.
Wicked Concert Stage – On both days there are some great upcoming alternative indie rock bands with concerts. The Proscribed, Joker’s Hand, Dean Griffin, Dru, NUDA, Indigo Kidd, Mor Flowrs, Glass Generation, Hologram Empire, MAL, I Am The Instrument, and house cover band Voodoo Hacked. Dungeon Lounge – Home of the special FX makeup competition and the variety sideshow acts with Swingshift Sideshow, the Original Synners, and the Kryptkicker 6. Serial Shopping Showroom – Almost 80 vendors with spooky chic wares will be sharing their pop up shops with all of the guests of the Fear Faire.
Fear Faire Film Festival – There are over 300 films representing 100 countries that will be screened live at the Fear Faire Film Festival.
The Immersion Room – There is a maze, selfie opportunities, and scare actors in the Immersion Room.
Mortal Chatroom – Like minded people including ghost hunters, haunters, and independent filmmakers will converge in the chatroom.
Dead Man’s Prom Nite – On Friday the 13th, a prom king and queen will be crowned in the Prom Nite costume contest. Mortals are invited to dress in costume.
Social Costume Contest – On Saturday the 14th, mortals are invited to take part in costume contests throughout the day.
